Municipal Corporation of Delhi launches YouTube channel to bring technology into education | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: Explain the process and relevance of artificial intelligence waste management to primary school students, municipal corporation of Delhi (MCD) started the process of installing 15 computers each in 26 schools as part of the CSR activity. Sessions will be organized for pupils in the 4th and 5th grades as part of the project.
“We made the first computer lab operational at Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya, Saraswati Vihar on Tuesday and the lab consists of 15 computers and a smart board. The project will help instill a science-based approach among students and will be rolled out to over 1,500 schools in the near future,” said Additional Commissioner Alka Sharma.
The Education Department has also launched its YouTube channel called ‘Gyanodaya‘Tuesday at integrating technology into teaching. Officials said all supporting reading material would be available on the channel for teachers and students. The link for the same is
“The channel will help make the whole teaching-learning process efficient and interesting for students,” the official said. The civic body also claimed to have turned 15 schools into smart schools by August 15.
